When it comes to Seiko watches with Arabic dials, a simple Google search reveals a multitude of counterfeits. Yet genuine Seiko watches of this type do exist. In this article, I'll guide you through the authentic Seiko Arabic Dial models, how to buy them and how to avoid imitations.
The 6 genuine Seiko Arabic Dial
1- Seiko Arabic Dial SNK063
SNK063: This is probably the best-known model. With a diameter of 34 mm, this watch is ideally suited to both men's and women's wrists. It is currently valued at around €230, a marked increase on its price of less than €100 two years ago. Seiko watch prices have risen dramatically in recent years.
2- The Seiko Arabic Dial SRPH49
SRPH49: This is my favorite watch and, unfortunately, it's out of stock in many places. This Seiko 5 is unique with a green dial and currently costs around €1250. Its 40 mm diameter makes it a popular choice for both men and women.
3- The Seiko Arabic Dial SRPH50
SRPH50: A variation on the previous model, but in blue and gold. Currently priced at around €700.
4- Seiko Arabic Dial SRPH47
SRPH47: With the same 40 mm housing as the previous two, this model is also estimated at €700, although stocks are diminishing rapidly.
5- Seiko Arabic Dial SNKP22
SNKP22: This white and gold watch is rarely seen, but remains relatively affordable at approximately €200. It has a larger 42mm dial.
6- The Seiko Arabic Dial SNKP21
SNKP21: A black variant of the SNKP22, it has a classic aesthetic that appeals to many.
Watch out for counterfeits!
The craze for Seiko watches with Arabic dials has unfortunately given rise to a wave of counterfeits. Many of these "mods" are nothing more than vulgar imitations, illegally using the Seiko logo.
To spot these fake watches, be sure to compare them with the references listed above. What's more, if you see Rolex trademarked words on the dial, it's almost certainly a counterfeit.
